Diwali 'The festival of lights'
Diwali 'The festival of lights' celebration started with lighting the lamp. Students of Patel Public School from Grade 1 to 10 presented in dance, skit, rhyme, speech and awareness slogans. Chairman Mr. N. Kumar through his speech exhorted the children to celebrate Diwali by not polluting the mother earth and sharing sweets with our brothern's who are economically backward in the society by lending a helping hand.
Subsequently Rangoli competition was held in senior school for the students Grade 6 to 10. Hoysalas won the first place and the second place was shared by Chalukyas and Cholas and the third place was secured by Mauryas. Entire campus was lit up with beautiful diyas and lanterns made by the students. It wa a day full of joy and good wishes.
