Visit to AIR Humanitarian Home – ICSE SUPW Project
As part of the ICSE Socially Useful Productive Work project, a visit to AIR Humanitarian Home in Chikkagubbi was organized for Grade 10 students on Saturday, 23rd August 2025. This renowned organization is dedicated to the care and support of the elderly and destitute.
During the visit, students distributed groceries, toiletries, clothing and other essential items to the residents. They also spent meaningful time engaging in heartfelt conversations, listening to the life stories and experiences of the elderly.
The visit offered students a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable members of society and highlighted the importance of community service carried out with empathy and respect.
Overall, the visit to AIR Humanitarian Home was a profoundly rewarding experience. It not only fulfilled the objectives of the ICSE SUPW project but also instilled a lasting sense of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility in the students.
